LCIA QLD Workshop – Introduction to LEAN Construction

November 16, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm UTC+10

The Lean Construction Institute Australasia (LCIA) Queensland Council invites you to attend a half day workshop on the application of LEAN thinking in construction – introducing key tools and covering the challenging area of implementation.

LEAN practices in construction are driving change worldwide. In some instances, clients are driving the change. Lean focusses the supply chain on continuously improving customer satisfaction and eliminating waste. While most organisations aspire to do this, lean organisations actively drive improvement towards these outcomes on a weekly basis through a range of tools, performance metrics and management strategies.

KEY OBJECTIVES

By the end of the workshop you will:
1. Understand the main concepts and practices of lean management
2. Learn the principles of some core lean tools
3. Be introduced to effective implementation strategies
4. Understand how to start a lean transformation in their team or organisation.
