LEAN for Project Managers – International IPD/Lean, Collaboration and Innovation in Construction using Lean

Join us for the first LCIA Victoria event in 2017!

This LEAN for Project Managers event is targeted at those working in the construction sector who want to learn how LEAN principles can be applied in day to day work to improve the way we work.  Our speakers will equip you with practical applications of LEAN in Construction, building on both the fundamentals to present a thought provoking evening of industry networking and discussion.

Our speakers include:
Dr Derek Walker (RMIT) has spent time in the USA studying how the American market uses Integrated Project Delivery and Lean to deliver projects. He will explain his findings in comparison with the Australian market drawings some interesting conclusions.

Russell Woods (Built) will highlight how working at Toyota has equipped him with an extraordinary skill set that enables him to work with his supply chain to improve the way their production systems are run.This ultimately gives his company a better buying price. This is truly the definition of Collaborative Lean!

Dr Russell Kenley (Swinburne) has worked in the innovation space for years and will present on how Project Managers can best position themselves to use LEAN to influence project outcomes in innovative ways.
